Husqvarna - 455 never starts from new on
The Internet dropped my first review but this is more complete anyway. I've been putting up with stubborn starts from the day I bought this. Now I have been trying to start it for more than an hour. The bulk of this time has been spent while on hold with the escalation dept. They will not help me, even though this is within warranty. The guy tells me to take it to the dealer, which I have done and which is 30 miles away and costs ADDITIONAL revenue.
I also got a defective PA1100 pole saw and lost a day's worth of work when I scheduled some jobs, tested it and discovered it did not work. I took it to the dealer and after a week it was fixed. That is a week of work, lost, because of Husqvarna. The factory had put a too-small sprocket on that. I do not understand how Husqvarna QA works. It seems not to. I want lost wages. Both of these are under commercial 90-day warranty, but I am not "commercial," I'm effin' poor and trying to get a business going. Husqvarna products have frustrated my plans and stolen revenue from me that I want back.
Those guys are lucky I bought a Husky 42" riding mower after these sh--t experiences. I had faith. But right now I have wasted all day and worn myself out, not able to work, and waiting on hold. I have jobs to get to and now I have to waste more time waiting for a callback.
I like the lawn tractor. After that other crap I was surprised it worked. It works great. I think this has the best bang for the buck for this price point of mower. The engine is nice. I was able to rehab my own overgrown property, a project that was taking years manually in a matter of weeks with the ease of maintenance and the ability to cart stuff around that this tractor gives me.
Reason of review: the lawn tractor is good.
